My Gear Box

Working outdoors from sun up to sun down in 118 degree heat is incredibly demanding for any piece of gear. Shooting 20,000 or so frames a month is a tremendous amount of wear and tear on any piece of equipment. Abuse from extensive travel and less than careful airline personnel will destroy poorly built products in no time.

I demand consistency, reliability , performance and a competitive advantage from every piece of equipment I purchase. The equipment listed below is a pretty complete list of what I use day to day. For a vendor to make my equipment list they have to first earn my respect by proving to me that their product(s) work as advertised. I do my homework and evaluate every product I consider using before I am willing to risk my reputation by using a fly by night product.
